Steve V. Sipos Presents „Dreaming AI“ at SWISSARTEXPO 2026 in Zurich
August 17, 2026 | Arts & Culture
Press release from: SWISSARTEXPO
German artist Steve V. Sipos will present selected works from his ongoing series Dreaming AI at SWISSARTEXPO 2026 in Zurich.
The exhibition focuses on large-scale works measuring 120 × 120 cm, produced as high-quality pigment prints on aluminum composite panels and framed in custom-made welded steel frames.
Dreaming AI – Between Human Imagination and Machine Perception
The Dreaming AI series explores the boundaries between human imagination and machine perception. At its core lies a speculative question:
What does an artificial intelligence „see“ when it is not performing a specific task?
Could there be a state comparable to human dreaming – a moment of reorganization, processing, and fragmentation of information?
The compositions consist of carefully arranged horizontal bands, fields of color, and digital textures that evoke landscapes born from data. Millions of pixels, color values, and fragments of information merge into visual structures that oscillate between abstraction and memory.
The works invite viewers to contemplate the possible inner imagery of an artificial intelligence and to reconsider the relationship between technology, consciousness, and creativity.
Digital and Traditional Art in Dialogue
Steve V. Sipos works across both digital and traditional artistic media. In addition to the Dreaming AI series, the exhibition will feature recent acrylic paintings, creating a dialogue between analog and digital forms of expression and revealing the full spectrum of the artist’s creative practice.
Under the name Steve_One, Sipos develops and publishes his digital works. This artistic identity represents the digital dimension of his practice and serves as a deliberate counterpart to his work as a painter.
While Steve V. Sipos represents the artist and individual behind the work, Steve_One embodies the exploration of new visual languages emerging in the age of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
More Works and Projects
Visitors will also be able to explore additional series and projects through a digital presentation at the exhibition booth. The presentation offers a broader insight into an artistic practice that continuously moves between materiality, technology, and imagination.
