An der Schnittstelle von Bild, Code und Material entstehen Arbeiten, die sich mit der Frage beschäftigen, wie sich Bilder verändern, wenn sie nicht mehr nur gestaltet, sondern von Systemen mitproduziert werden.Ausgangspunkt sind fotografische Fragmente oder reduzierte visuelle Strukturen, die durch algorithmische Prozesse, KI und manuelle Eingriffe transformiert werden. Dabei entstehen Bildräume zwischen Kontrolle und Zufall, Intuition und Berechnung.
Im Zentrum steht nicht das fertige Werk, sondern der Prozess: der Moment, in dem ein System beginnt, eigenständig zu reagieren – und sich die Rolle des Autors verschiebt.
Die Arbeiten verstehen sich als Versuchsanordnungen zur Untersuchung von Wahrnehmung, Bildproduktion und Autorschaft im digitalen Kontext.
Images are no longer created – they are negotiated.
The starting point is photographic fragments or reduced visual structures, which are transformed through algorithmic processes, AI, and manual intervention. This process creates visual spaces that exist between control and chance, intuition and calculation.
The focus is not on the finished work, but on the process: the moment when a system begins to react autonomously—and the role of the author shifts.
The works are conceived as experimental setups for investigating perception, image production, and authorship in the digital context.

Dialog zwischen Kontrolle und Intuition
Pixel_Maus Beschreibung
Die Arbeiten der Serie Pixel_Maus Serie untersuchen die Schnittstelle von Mensch und Maschine in einer bewusst reduzierten Form.
Grundlage ist ein festes Raster von 31 × 31 Pixeln. Diese Begrenzung erzeugt eine visuelle Sprache zwischen früher Pixel-Ästhetik und digitalen Bildsystemen – präzise konstruiert und systematisch aufgebaut.
Ausgangspunkt ist eine zeichnerische Idee, die in einem mehrstufigen Prozess weiterentwickelt wird: Skizze, algorithmische Transformation, manuelle Überarbeitung und erneute Rückführung in generative Systeme.
Die Bilder entstehen dabei nicht linear, sondern zirkulär. Jede Stufe verändert das Material – Eingriffe werden aufgenommen, transformiert und in neuer Form zurückgegeben.
Der Druck auf Leinwand ist kein abschließender Schritt, sondern eine temporäre Fixierung innerhalb dieses Prozesses. Parallel dazu werden digitale Zustände weitergeführt und in Bewegung übersetzt.

The works in the Pixel_Mouse series explore the interface between human and machine through a deliberately reduced visual form.
The foundation is a fixed grid of 31 × 31 pixels. This limitation creates a visual language situated between early pixel aesthetics and contemporary digital imaging systems—precisely constructed and systematically developed.
Each work begins with a drawn concept that is developed through a multi-stage process: sketch, algorithmic transformation, manual refinement, and reintegration into generative systems.
The images are not created linearly, but cyclically. Each stage transforms the material—interventions are absorbed, modified, and returned in new forms.
Printing on canvas is not a final step, but a temporary fixation within this process. In parallel, digital states continue to evolve and are translated into motion.
This results in works that are not bound to a single medium, but oscillate between image, system, and time-based form.

Durch die Auflösung in dynamische Pixelstrukturen verlieren die Motive ihre ursprüngliche Lesbarkeit und verschieben sich in abstrakte Bildzustände.
Sichtbare Formen werden dabei nicht einfach reduziert, sondern transformiert – in Felder von Bewegung, Licht und Verdichtung.
Die Arbeiten bewegen sich zwischen fotografischer Referenz und digitaler Eigenlogik. Sie zeigen nicht eine „andere Realität“, sondern den Moment, in dem sich das Bild von seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung löst und als System neu organisiert.
